Coral Pink Sands State Park

We left the Zion National Park area and traveled to Coral Pink Sands State Park. The trip took us through the area in Arizona named the Arizona strip. This area is noted for plural marriages among the Mormon settlers. We passed through a couple of strange towns......

Coral Pink Sands state park is a small but very pretty park. We are back in camping mode while here as we do not have any hookups, not an RV resort. They do have great showers however. The area has huge sand dunes and is a favorite with the four wheelers that mainly come on the weekends. We are in a higher elevation then we have been and the weather is much cooler. This morning it was in the 50's.

We are on our way to Bryce Canyon National Park........more from there
